We have to climb the stone-cut steps to reach the temple. Seeing the surrounding remparts and the bastians, one gets the inpression that one is entering a fort. The ‘Nagarkhana’ adds a decorative touch to the entrance-gate. On entering the temple premises, we see an assembly hall, the snctum sanctorium and the main sanctum sanctorium. In the main sanctum sanctorium stand the beautifully carved idols of the Goddess. They are pleasing to the eye and mind. There is a special arrangment to ensure that the devotees get a proper view of the idols. The two handed ambabai Vajramata wields a sword and a mace. The idol with a silver umbrella and a ‘Chamar’ and dressed in the tranditional apparel mixed with decorative silver-threads is more than a divine feast to your eyes. There are idols of Kapileshwar Mahadev, Shri Dattatrey, Shri Hanuman and Shrines of some saints of the Giri Gosavi sact in the temple primises. The age old peepul tree near the Hanuman tample has naturally assumed the form of Ganpati. The Shrine of the saint Godhadebuwa is on a height behind the Hanuman temple. This Vajreshwarmata is great deity. You must pay visit to this holy place in which the devotees have sincere faith. See the glimpse of the mother Vajreshwari and attain bliss.
